Sandra is currently pursuing an M.S. at Columbia's Graduate School of
Journalism
with a new media concentration.

She graduated Magna Cum Laude from SUNY Binghamton in 2003 and has written for Reforma (Mexico's main newspaper), ForbesTraveler.com,
The Villager, Downtown Express, Chelsea Now, and, most recently, Art
Papers.

Sandra is a passionate traveler with educational and professional experience in Art History. As a journalist, she is interested in promoting a better understanding of Latin America and the Middle East through her cultural reporting.

Currently based in New York, Sandra was born in Mexico and has
traveled around Europe, to Cuba, Guatemala, Turkey, Lebanon, and Syria, among other countries. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian, has some good knowledge of French and is beginning to study Arabic.
